Because of this, she has earned nicknames such as “Manzi wa Nai,” “Dem wa Kanairo,” and “Kanairo Babe.” She is tall, brown, and beautiful. She is known in Nairobi’s ghetto streets for advocating for girls’ rights, better living conditions, and development. Apart from that, she is among the leaders with a huge social media following and often trends online, becoming a topic of discussion on the internet.

Background & Education

She was born on November 6, 1987, and is currently 39 years old as of 2026. She grew up in Umoja 1 Estate in Nairobi’s Eastlands area. Her parents were important people in society; her father was a civil engineer, while her mother was a nursery school teacher.

She attended two primary schools. She studied at Riverbank Primary School in Ngara from 1992 to 1997 before moving to Kamuthatha Primary School in Embu in 1998.

She performed well and joined Limuru Girls High School for her secondary education. Being a cheeky girl, she found herself on the wrong side of the school administration and was suspended, together with other girls, after breaking into the school canteen and stealing sausages. Because of this incident, she delayed completing her studies by one year. She later sat for her KCSE exams in 2002.

Nyamu scored a mean grade of A, which earned her direct admission to the University of Nairobi. She pursued a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from 2003 to 2006. After graduation, she joined the Kenya School of Law for a Diploma in Law. She was admitted to the Bar as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya in 2007. She also holds a Master of Arts in Diplomacy and International Affairs.
