Johanna Ng’eno was born on 12th December 1972 and died at the age of 54. He was a famous politician who served as a Member of Parliament for Emurua Dikirr Constituency. He was elected in 2013 and continued serving his people until his death on the weekend of February 28, 2026. He was widely loved by his community for protecting their interests and bringing development to the Kipsigis people.

Ng’eno’s native home was in Narok County. Unlike many other leaders, he was raised in a family of peasant farmers. He faced significant hardship, especially in his education. The struggle pushed him to work hard to build a better future.
For his primary education, he attended Mogondo Primary School and later joined Maseno National School for his secondary education, which was one of the best schools in the Nyanza region at that time.
He later received a scholarship to study abroad at a university in Ukraine, where he pursued a Bachelor of Arts in International Law. He returned to Kenya in 2011 and furthered his education by earning a Bachelor of Laws degree from Mount Kenya University. In 2010, he enrolled at the University of Nairobi, where he studied for a Master of Arts in International Studies.
He was officially admitted to the bar as an Advocate of the High Court in September 2025.
He first vied for a political seat in 2007 to represent Kilgoris Constituency but lost amid allegations of rigging. His breakthrough came in 2013 when he won the seat of Member of Parliament for Emurua Dikirr. He was again re-elected for two more terms in the 2017 and 2022 general elections.
He served on several key committees, including Justice and Legal Affairs, Public Investments, and the NG-CDF Committee. At the time of his death, he was the Chairperson of the Housing Committee.
He held his wedding in 2018 and married Nayianoi Ntutu, who also comes from a political family in Narok. The wedding was attended by prominent politicians, including the late Prime Minister Raila Amolo Odinga and President William Ruto.

On February 28, 2026, Ng’eno died in a helicopter crash in Mosop, Nandi County. The crash occurred shortly after he had participated in community activities, including distributing bursary cheques in his constituency.
